10-Year Limited Fade-Resistant Warranty
Patioslife provides a 10-year limited warranty for fabric fading on eligible patio umbrellas.

This applies to noticeable fading (generally defined as discoloration larger than 2.5cm) under normal usage and exposure, provided the product has not been misused or subjected to extreme conditions.

Our fabric is tested against international colorfastness standards to ensure strong resistance to UV fading.

If your canopy fabric fades significantly under normal outdoor use, we will provide a free fabric replacement.

“Fading” refers to a visible and measurable change in color due to UV exposure.

This warranty does not cover mould, stains, pollution, chemical damage, or misuse.

Warranty coverage applies to fabric only, and claims require proof of purchase and photographic evidence.
What This Warranty Covers

Fade Resistance: Fabric fading caused by normal UK sunlight and outdoor weather conditions.

Mechanical Defects: Faults in components such as cranks, rib connectors, or hardware that affect functionality under normal use.

Manufacturing Defects: Issues in materials or workmanship that impair usability during the intended product lifespan.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and begins from the purchase date. A valid proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
For clarity, the following are not covered under this warranty:

Damage due to misuse, accidents, abuse, or neglect

Wear and tear from leaving the umbrella open during strong winds or storms

Unauthorised modifications or use of third-party replacement parts

Minor discolouration, cosmetic imperfections, or personal dissatisfaction

Example: This warranty covers fabric fading from normal sun exposure, but not rips, tears, or mechanical breakage caused by misuse.
Warranty Claim Process

We aim to review all claims within 7–10 working days. Claims without sufficient documentation may be delayed or declined.
